In line with Tierra’s endeavor to develop products with maximum function and minimal environmental impact, we made the Nikka Parka in 2-layer Gore-Tex featuring the new microporous, fluorocarbon-free ePE membrane—one of only a handful of brands globally with first-access to this groundbreaking fabric. The outer impregnation is also completely free of fluorocarbons and the insulation is 100% recycled polyester. All-around, it’s the perfect parka for the eco-conscious.
Named for one of the coldest places in Sweden—the Sami village of Nikkaluokta, nestled at the end of the road in the mountain foothills far north of the Arctic Circle—this parka is clearly designed to keep you warm.
Additional features include a fully adjustable hood, double storm flaps secured with both regular and magnetic buttons, a two-way front zip with soft chin guard, adjustable cuffs and inner zip pocket. Both the two large outer flap pockets—perfect for an extra pair of gloves or a beanie—and two large hand pockets are lined with hand-warming brushed fleece.
