The Roc Blanc Pant is our most technical and durable women’s shell pant. Made in waterproof, windproof, breathable 3-layer Gore-Tex® Pro and designed for the most extreme outdoor environments, it was developed in collaboration with Tierra’s test team of mountain professionals. The result is so robust that it’s employed as workwear by everyone from alpine guides to Himalayan Sherpas to the Swedish Mountain Rescue unit.
Three-layer Gore-Tex® Pro is that company’s most weatherproof and durable laminate, comprising an outer fabric, intermediate membrane, and inner fabric (backing). The outer layer is extremely tough polyamide, the microporous middle membrane does the miraculous job of preventing liquid water from penetrating while simultaneously releasing water vapour formed from sweat, and is protected by a ripstop polyamide inner fabric.
The Roc Blanc Pant is packed with thoughtful features that serve a clear purpose: pre-bent kness and stretchy bib for freedom of movement; adjustable suspenders that can attach either to the bib or pant (the bib/suspenders are ralso emovable in favour of a belt if desired); adjustable and reinforced lower legs with snow locks; 3/4-length two-way zips for ventilation; and three zippered pockets.
