In line with Tierra’s endeavor to develop products with maximum function and minimal environmental impact, we made the Mörviken Pant in 3-layer Gore-Tex featuring the new microporous, fluorocarbon-free ePE membrane—one of only a handful of brands globally with first-access to this groundbreaking fabric. The outer impregnation is also completely free of fluorocarbons.
The name Mörviken derives from Mörviksån, the place where the Östra (East) and Västra (West) ravines meet on Åreskutan mountain in the Swedish ski area of Åre, so you won’t be surprised that this pant can be complemented by either of our new Östra and Västra jackets.
Features include removable suspenders and elastic waist adjustment, fly zip with snap-button closure, two large zippered leg pockets and waterproof 3/4-length, two-way side-zips to make it easy to vent excess heat. Leg cuffs have durable reinforcement to protect against steel edges, a Velcro snow lock, and a button adjustment that makes the pant suitable even for touring boots.
