M's Östra Jacket

In line with Tierra’s endeavor to develop products with maximum function and minimal environmental impact, we made the Östra Jacket in 3-layer Gore-Tex featuring the new microporous, fluorocarbon-free ePE membrane—one of only a handful of brands globally with first-access to this groundbreaking fabric. The outer impregnation is also completely free of fluorocarbons.

With its name inspired by Östra Ravinen (East Ravine)—a classic off-piste zone on Åreskutan mountain in the Swedish ski area of Åre—this jacket’s unbeatable combination of waterproofness and breathability will keep you dry and comfortable whether you’re in the teeth of an Arctic snowstorm or navigating a long, foggy off-piste descent in the Alps.

Designed in a longer profile to help keep wind and snow out, Östra’s adjustable hood is perfectly adapted to accommodate a helmet and provide extra protection against the elements. Waterproof zips, taped seams, and hem and cuff adjustments help keep moisture and snow out, while side-zips ventilate excess heat. Five pockets—two alpine chest pockets (one equipped with internal mesh storage and anpother with a goggle cloth), two hand pocets and a lift-card pocket—provide maximum order for whatever you need to carry.
