Tarrekaise is a technically light and packable down jacket made for year-round adventures. With its light weight, durable fabric and good insulating capabilities, you can bring this jacket everywhere and all year. Hiking a ridge in Narvik, a bouldering trip in France or those chilly days on the way to work.
The outer fabric in Tarrekaise is made from a light but durable ripstop fabric in 100% recycled polyamide. Reinforcements over the shoulders prevent wear and tear from a backpack. The fill is 800 fill-power RDS-certified traceable and ethically processed down. All in all, this makes Terrakaise a versatile down jacket that combines insulation with low weight and high packability. Terrekaise is a down jacket that can do everything except the highest peaks and the most extreme conditions. For that, look to the Kebnepakte expedition jacket.
Tarrekaise is fitted with a warm, helmet compatible hood with a mouldable brim for best fit. A front two-way zipper allows the jacket to be opened from above and below to ventilate excess heat or to gain access to safety equipment, like a GriGri or ATC.
The jacket has two ample hand pockets that are easily accessible even with a backpack and a lined alpine chest pocket. Tarrekaise is fitted with an adjustable cord hem and elastic cuffs.
