Kebnepakte is an advanced and exceptionally warm down jacket developed for the highest peaks and extremely cold winter tours. During development, Chirring Dorje Sherpa and other member of our test team tested the jacket at altitudes of up to 8,000 metres.
The outer fabric of Kebnepakte is made of light but durable ripstop fabric in 100% recycled polyamide. The jacket has reinforcements on exposed areas. The fill is comprised of 800 fill-power, traceable and ethically processed RDS-certified down. With these features, Kebnepakte is a jacket that combines exceptional insulation with low weight and high packability. The box construction ensures the lack of cold gaps. Kebnepakte Down Jacket is made for those who need maximum performance and functionality.
Kebnepakte is fitted with a helmet compatible hood with a mouldable brim for best fit. Two-way front zipper allows the jacket to be opened from above and below to ventilate any excess heat or for easy access to safety equipment, such as a GriGri or ATC. Safety buttons along the zipper let you also keep the jacket partially open and work as an extra security if the zipper should fail.
The jacket has two spacious hand pockets that are easily accessible even with a backpack. An internal mesh pocket provides space for gloves or a thermos, and one zippered pocket. The jacket is fitted with an adjustable cord at the hem and elastic cuffs.
