The Balmacaan 3L Coat is a waterproof, windproof coat in 3-layer Gore-Tex® with an inner fabric of recycled polyester and a removable hood. The design is inspired by the classic balmacaan overcoat, popular in the mid-19th century for driving a car. Its straight-up design allows plenty of room for layers beneath.
In combination with a longer back, a two-way zipper with double flaps offers substantial protection against wind, rain and snow–even when sitting down. A great year-round alternative, it works just as well in town as in the forest or fields. Wear it over a t-shirt on warm but rainy days, or add mid-layers or a Belay jacket during the colder months.
